MINNESOTA — A 57-year-old woman died after she was struck by a vehicle Monday afternoon in St. Cloud, according to police.
The crash happened just before 12:30 p.m. on the 1800 block of Ninth Avenue North, according to the St. Cloud Police Department.
Investigators said a 61-year-old woman was driving on Ninth Avenue North when she hit a pedestrian who was walking in the northbound lanes of traffic.
The pedestrian, identified as Tammy Hamby of Sauk Rapids, was taken to St. Cloud Hospital, where she later died from her injuries.
Police said the crash remains under investigation.
