
SOUTH CAROLINA — An Irmo man was arrested after police said a search warrant uncovered a large amount of drugs, firearms and cash at a residence in the New Friarsgate neighborhood.
According to the Irmo Police Department, officers arrested Joseph Seth Braxton around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday following the search of a home in the area.
Investigators said Braxton is charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, drug trafficking, possession with intent to distribute and possession of a controlled substance.
Police said officers seized multiple types of drugs during the search, including 106 ounces of marijuana plants, at least 9 ounces of THC vape products, 46 ounces of THC wax, 3 grams of LSD, three Alprazolam pills and 2.6 ounces of psilocybin.
Authorities also recovered approximately $11,400 in cash, according to investigators.
Police said officers seized several weapons from the residence, including three semi-automatic handguns, one revolver, two assault rifles, one shotgun and assorted ammunition.
The investigation remains ongoing.
