WEST VIRGINIA — Mercer County Public Schools announced that Montcalm High School will be closed to students on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
According to a post from Mercer County Public Schools – WV, staff members are still expected to report to work. Employees are directed to report to the Seminar Center at the Mercer County Technical Education Center.
School officials did not immediately release additional details regarding the reason for the closure.
The announcement was made Tuesday evening through the school district’s official Facebook page.
