KENTUCKY — A man was hospitalized Tuesday evening after a shooting in Louisville’s Taylor Berry neighborhood, according to Louisville Metro Police.
Police said officers responded just after 7 p.m. to the 1300 block of Sale Avenue for reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man in his 30s suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg in an alley. Officers rendered aid and applied a tourniquet before EMS transported the victim to UofL Hospital.
Authorities said the man is expected to survive.
LMPD’s Non-Fatal Shooting Unit is investigating the incident.
