
MISSISSIPPI — A Georgia man is facing multiple drug trafficking charges following a large drug bust during a commercial vehicle inspection on Interstate 22 in Pontotoc County.
According to the Mississippi Department of Public Safety, the seizure happened Sunday during a routine inspection along I-22.
Authorities said officers discovered approximately 376 pounds of methamphetamine, 82 pounds of marijuana and 2 kilograms of powder cocaine.
The driver, identified as 32-year-old Ramar Lloyd of McDonough, Georgia, was arrested at the scene.
Officials said Lloyd now faces multiple drug trafficking charges. Additional details about the investigation or potential court appearances were not immediately released.
