Five people injured following school bus crash in Georgia

GEORGIA — Five people suffered minor injuries after a school bus crashed with a car Tuesday morning in Stonecrest, according to officials.

Authorities said the crash happened around 6 a.m. near 2950 Klondike Road.

Officials reported that five people riding on the school bus were injured in the collision. Two of the injured were taken to a hospital for treatment.

Authorities said the injuries were considered minor. The ages of those hurt were not immediately released.

Officials have not said how many people were inside the car involved in the crash or whether anyone in that vehicle was injured.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
