
TEXAS — Houston police are investigating a homicide after officers found a man shot to death in an east Houston parking lot Monday night following an anonymous tip.
Authorities said the tip led officers to a parking lot near Fidelity Street and Delaware Street, where they found the body of a man believed to be in his 70s.
Investigators said the victim suffered an unknown number of gunshot wounds.
Houston Fire Department crews responded to the scene and transported the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
No suspects have been taken into custody.
Police said investigators are searching the area for possible surveillance video and additional evidence connected to the shooting.
