OHIO — One person is dead and three others were hospitalized after a crash Monday evening in Hamilton Township, according to authorities.
The Warren County Coroner’s Office identified the victim as 57-year-old Scott Ricketts of Loveland. Officials said he died following the crash.
Emergency crews responded to the 2000 block of East U.S. 22 after reports of a serious crash involving two vehicles, one of which was towing a trailer.
Hamilton Township Fire Rescue said three people had to be extricated from the vehicles.
Two people were flown by medical helicopter to UC Health for treatment, while two others were transported to area hospitals by ambulance. Authorities have not released the extent of their injuries.
East U.S. 22 was shut down for several hours while police investigated the crash.
