MISSISSIPPI — The Lee County Coroner’s Office is investigating a fatal stabbing that happened Saturday on County Road 1303 in Guntown.
According to the coroner, 46-year-old Randy Hallmark of Guntown was pronounced dead at 6:43 p.m. following the incident.
Hallmark’s body has been sent to the Mississippi State Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy to determine additional details about the cause and manner of death.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Department is also investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
Authorities have not released any information about possible suspects or a motive at this time.
