ARIZONA — A man was hospitalized after a late-night shooting at a Mesa apartment complex, according to police.
Mesa police said officers responded around 10:30 p.m. Monday to the area near Country Club Drive and University Drive for reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they found a man suffering from injuries. He was taken to a nearby hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
Authorities said a suspect was later detained with assistance from SWAT.
Police have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting or the identities of those involved.
The investigation remains ongoing.
