INDIANA — One person was killed Sunday morning in a crash on southbound Interstate 65 near downtown Indianapolis.
According to the Indiana Department of Transportation, the crash happened around 11 a.m. in the southbound lanes of I-65 near Washington Street.
Authorities have not released the identity of the person who died, and no additional details about the crash were immediately available Sunday afternoon.
Traffic in the area was impacted while emergency crews responded to the scene. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
