ARIZONA — A small plane crashed Friday afternoon near the intersection of Park Avenue and Bilby Road in Tucson, according to the Tucson Police Department.
Police said the biplane appeared to have struck a pole before crashing. No injuries were reported.
The crash is expected to cause traffic disruptions in the area while investigators work the scene.
As of 3:30 p.m., authorities said Park Avenue was closed from Mossman south to Bilby.
