NORTH CAROLINA — Several drivers are experiencing delays Friday after a crash has shut down part of Interstate 40 in Sampson County.
According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, I-40 is closed at Exit 364 near the Turkey area because of the crash.
Authorities have not released details about what caused the accident, and it is unclear whether anyone was injured.
Traffic remains impacted Friday as crews respond to the scene.
