FLORIDA — Rapper Kodak Black has been arrested in Florida for the second time this month, according to Broward County jail records.
The rapper, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was arrested Thursday by the Pompano Beach Police Department. He faces charges of attempting to flee law enforcement and resisting an officer without violence.
Records show the 28-year-old was booked into the Broward County main jail in Fort Lauderdale, where he was awaiting a bond hearing as of Friday morning.
Authorities have not released additional details surrounding the latest arrest.
The new charges come just days after Kapri was arrested in Orlando in connection with a November 2025 investigation.
According to Orange County court records, Kapri was booked into the Orange County Jail on May 6 on a drug trafficking charge before bonding out the following day.
Police said officers responded Nov. 24, 2025, to reports of gunfire near the Children’s Safety Village in Orlando. Investigators said they discovered a bag containing MDMA, about $37,000 in cash and documents bearing Kapri’s name inside one of the vehicles at the scene.
According to an arrest affidavit, Kapri denied ownership of the bag but told officers the money belonged to his business and requested it be returned.
The latest arrest remains under investigation.
