
PENNSYLVANIA — A Dauphin County woman is facing charges after police said more than $10,000 in bank deposits went missing from a Dollar Tree store in York County.
According to Fairview Township Police, the investigation began after the Dollar Tree on Old York Road reported missing bank deposits totaling $10,480.54.
Police said 29-year-old Onnesty Bruner-Mitchell, of Harrisburg, admitted to falsifying deposit records in an effort to conceal shortages in the store’s finances.
Bruner-Mitchell was charged with theft by unlawful taking.
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing.
The charges were announced Wednesday by the Fairview Township Police Department.
