NORTH CAROLINA — A lottery player in North Carolina won $100,000 in Wednesday night’s Powerball drawing after matching four white balls and the Powerball with the Power Play multiplier, according to lottery results released after the drawing.
The winning numbers for the Wednesday, May 13 drawing were 22, 31, 52, 56, 67, with a Powerball of 15. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
The estimated jackpot for the drawing was $70 million, with an estimated cash value of $31.6 million at the time of the drawing.
Lottery officials said the North Carolina ticket matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. Because the ticket included the Power Play option, the standard $50,000 prize was doubled to $100,000.
No jackpot winner was announced following the drawing.
