
NORTH CAROLINA — A chase on Interstate 440 involving the North Carolina State Highway Patrol reached speeds of more than 100 miles per hour, according to court documents.
Arrest warrants show Timothy Lawrence Robbins was charged with felony fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, misdemeanor reckless driving and speeding.
According to the warrants, Robbins was riding a motorcycle at 150 miles per hour in a 60-mile-per-hour zone on I-440 while allegedly attempting to evade a state trooper.
Court records show Robbins was arrested Wednesday and is scheduled to appear in Wake County court Thursday afternoon.
