ARIZONA — One person is dead following a UTV crash near Surprise Wednesday night, according to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded just after 8 p.m. to a desert area near Deer Valley Road and 185th Avenue after receiving a report that a side-by-side vehicle had rolled over.
When deputies arrived, they found two people inside the vehicle. Authorities said one person was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have not said what caused the crash.
