SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies are investigating a shooting that happened early Wednesday morning near a nightclub in Dillon County.
Deputies responded to the shooting just before 2 a.m. along the 3100 block of Highway 301 in the Hamer community.
One man told the station he was inside the establishment when he heard what sounded like at least 30 gunshots. He later learned that a person had been injured in the shooting.
Additional details about the victim’s condition or possible suspects have not been released.
The Dillon County Sheriff’s Office has not yet provided further information as the investigation remains ongoing.
