OHIO — A semi driver was arrested Wednesday morning after a hit-and-run crash in downtown Cincinnati left one woman hospitalized.
The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. at the intersection of 3rd Street and Broadway Street.
Police said a woman involved in the crash was taken to UC Medical Center. Authorities said she was alert when transported, though the extent of her injuries was not immediately known.
Investigators initially said the other vehicle involved in the crash fled the scene and that traffic cameras would be reviewed to help identify the driver.
In a later update, officials confirmed that a semi driver had been arrested and charged in connection with fleeing a serious injury crash.
