
LOUISIANA — All lanes of Interstate 10 Eastbound near Iowa, Louisiana, are closed Wednesday morning following a vehicle crash, according to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development.
Officials said the closure is located at the Louisiana Highway 101 exit near Iowa.
Motorists are being advised to use alternate routes while crews respond to the crash scene.
According to Lake Charles Traffic, drivers are being diverted onto Louisiana Highway 383 South to U.S. 90 East. Authorities said congestion in the area remained minimal as of Wednesday morning.
DOTD later clarified the exact location of the closure after initially issuing a correction.
No additional details about injuries or the cause of the crash were immediately released.
