FLORIDA — A person was critically injured in a shooting near a hotel in Kissimmee Tuesday morning, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to an Extended Stay Suites on Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway after receiving reports of a shooting.
When deputies arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a hospital in critical condition, investigators said.
Authorities have not released the victim’s age or identity.
Deputies said they were interviewing a man in connection with the shooting, but no additional details have been released.
The sheriff’s office said the scene has been secured and there is no immediate threat to the community.
The investigation remains ongoing.
