
FLORIDA — A lockdown at Orange Park High School was lifted Monday morning after a reported threat involving a weapon at the school, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Michelle Cook said deputies responded to the school around 8:30 a.m. after reports of a possible weapon threat on campus. A large law enforcement presence was seen at the school during the incident.
Authorities said deputies cleared the area and determined there was no ongoing threat. No injuries were reported.
The lockdown lasted about 20 minutes before it was lifted, according to officials.
The investigation remains ongoing.
