OHIO — A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Sunday afternoon in Beaver Township, according to authorities.
Police said the crash happened around 2 p.m. near Lesher Road on State Route 46.
One person was hit by a car and suffered serious injuries. The victim was taken to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Youngstown for treatment.
Northbound and southbound lanes of State Route 46 were temporarily closed while crews investigated and cleared the scene.
Troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol and members of the Beaver Township Fire Department responded to the crash.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
