INDIANA — One person was hospitalized after a shooting early Sunday morning in South Bend, according to police.
Dispatchers first received calls about the shooting just before 5 a.m. on Eastbrook Drive, west of the Saint Mary’s College campus.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found one person suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released the victim’s condition.
Police also said it is not known at this time whether there are any suspects connected to the shooting.
The investigation remains ongoing.
