INDIANA — A motorcyclist died Saturday afternoon after a crash in Huntington County, according to authorities.
The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. on the northbound side of State Road 5, just north of County Road 600 North.
The Huntington County Sheriff’s Office said a Harley-Davidson motorcycle failed to navigate a curve, struck a guardrail and threw the rider from the bike.
The rider was found on an embankment near the roadway and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials have not released the identity of the motorcyclist.
The Huntington County Sheriff’s Office and the Huntington County Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate the crash.
