ARIZONA — A Powerball ticket sold in Arizona won $50,000 in Saturday night’s drawing, according to lottery officials.
The winning numbers for the May 9, 2026, Powerball drawing were 15, 41, 46, 47 and 56, with the Powerball number 22. The Power Play multiplier was 2x.
No ticket matched all six numbers to win the estimated $48 million jackpot. The cash value of the jackpot was estimated at $21.5 million at the time of the drawing.
Arizona lottery officials confirmed one ticket sold in the state matched four white balls and the Powerball to win a $50,000 prize.
Powerball drawings are held three times a week on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday nights.
