
MISSISSIPPI — A man was found dead from a gunshot wound early Saturday at Flint Creek Water Park, according to the Wiggins Police Department.
Police said officers responded to the park at approximately 1:21 a.m. after receiving a report of a person suffering from a gunshot wound to the head.
When officers arrived, they found the victim dead at the scene. Authorities have not yet released the victim’s identity.
Investigators believe the shooting was an isolated incident. Police said the water park remains safe and there is no threat to the public or park visitors.
The investigation remains ongoing, and additional information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
