
NORTH CAROLINA — A Hendersonville man died Friday morning after a single-vehicle crash west of the city limits, according to the North Carolina State Highway Patrol.
Troopers said 63-year-old Kevin Wayne Bryan was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash was reported around 6:57 a.m. on U.S. 64.
Investigators said a Toyota 4Runner traveling east on U.S. 64 crossed left of center and went off the left shoulder of the roadway before striking a tree.
Authorities said Bryan was the only person in the vehicle.
The crash remains under investigation.
