TEXAS — Interstate 20 East remains closed Friday morning in Harrison County after a crash involving an overturned 18-wheeler south of Marshall.
The crash happened around 3 a.m. on I-20 East between U.S. 59 and Elysian Field Road.
Officials said the interstate is still shut down as of about 8:30 a.m.
Drivers traveling through the area reported that an 18-wheeler overturned in the crash. No additional details about injuries or what caused the wreck were immediately available.
Authorities have not said when the roadway is expected to reopen.
The investigation is ongoing.
