INDIANA — All northbound lanes of Interstate 65 in Jasper County are closed Thursday morning after a semi-truck hauling paper products caught fire, according to the Indiana Department of Transportation.

The fire was reported near the 213-mile marker in Jasper County. INDOT issued an alert around 10 a.m. warning drivers that all northbound lanes are shut down.

Officials said traffic is being diverted off I-65 at Exit 205 onto U.S. 231.

It was not immediately known how long the closure would remain in place, and no injuries had been reported as of Thursday morning.

Authorities have not released additional details. The incident remains under investigation.
