MICHIGAN — Detroit police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 14-year-old girl who disappeared Wednesday after school.
According to the Detroit Police Department, Nevaeh Coakley was reported missing after she failed to return to her home in the 12700 block of Ilene Street on May 6.
Police said Coakley was last seen wearing a blue jacket, black leggings and Ugg shoes.
Authorities described her as 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighing approximately 175 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes.
Investigators have not released additional details about where she may have been headed or the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
