
LOUISIANA — A pedestrian was left in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Shreveport, according to police.
The incident happened shortly after 8 p.m. on May 5 on Mansfield Road near the intersections of Colquitt Road and Burson Drive, the Shreveport Police Department said.
Police said emergency crews were called to the scene after reports of a pedestrian being hit by a vehicle. The victim was transported for medical treatment and remains in critical condition.
Multiple units responded to the crash scene as officers began investigating the circumstances surrounding the collision.
Authorities have not released the identity of the pedestrian or any additional details about how the crash occurred.
The investigation remains ongoing.
