
MINNESOTA — Two teenagers were injured in a shooting late Monday night in Bloomington, according to police.
Officers were called around 10:10 p.m. to the 7900 block of Bloomington Avenue South on a report of gunfire. When they arrived, they found a 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
Both teens, who are from Bloomington, were taken to a hospital for treatment. Authorities said their injuries are not considered life-threatening. The girl has since been treated and released, while the boy remains hospitalized in stable condition.
Police have not said what led up to the shooting but believe the people involved know each other. No arrests have been announced, and additional details about the incident have not been released.
The case remains under investigation.
