KENTUCKY — Three men were arrested following a high-speed pursuit that spanned multiple counties late Sunday night, according to Kentucky State Police.
Troopers initiated a traffic stop just before 11:45 p.m. on Interstate 65 near the 34-mile marker in Warren County. During the stop, another trooper observed a vehicle approaching at a high rate of speed, later clocked at 112 miles per hour in a 70 mph zone.
Authorities said the vehicle continued accelerating and weaving through traffic, reaching speeds of up to 157 miles per hour. When troopers attempted to stop the vehicle, it fled southbound, prompting a pursuit that crossed into Hart County.
One trooper was forced to disengage after experiencing a flat tire. The pursuit came to an end in Horse Cave after a Cave City police unit deployed stop sticks, bringing the vehicle to a stop.
All three occupants were taken into custody. Troopers said the individuals refused to identify who had been driving the vehicle and were informed they would all face charges if no driver was identified.
The suspects were identified as 23-year-old Anthony Wilson, 20-year-old Malachi Wilson, and 23-year-old Christian Tucker. All three are currently being held at the Warren County Regional Jail.
Anthony Wilson and Tucker are charged with speeding more than 26 miles per hour over the limit, reckless driving, first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, wanton endangerment of a police officer, and several traffic violations, including improper passing and operating on a suspended or revoked license.
Malachi Wilson faces similar charges, including speeding, reckless driving, fleeing or evading police, wanton endangerment, and multiple registration-related violations.
The investigation remains ongoing.
