GEORGIA — A young girl was taken to the hospital Monday morning after being struck by a vehicle at an apartment complex, according to police.
Authorities said the incident occurred around 7:30 a.m. at the Liberty Commons Apartments on North Lumpkin Road.
Officials have not released the child’s age or details about her condition, but confirmed that she was alive when transported for medical treatment.
Police remained at the scene late Monday morning as the investigation continued. No information has been released about what led to the collision, and no charges have been announced.
