NORTH CAROLINA — One person was hospitalized with potentially life-threatening injuries following a crash involving a school bus in west Charlotte on Monday morning, officials said.
The crash happened at the intersection of State Street and Ambassador Street, according to emergency responders.
Medic confirmed that one person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Authorities have not released the identity of the individual.
The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and Duke Energy responded to the scene. It is unclear what led to the crash.
Officials have not said whether any students were on the bus at the time.
The investigation remains ongoing.
