
MISSOURI — A motorcyclist was killed in a crash involving a pickup truck Sunday night near Clever, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at approximately 10 p.m. on May 3 along Silver Lake Road, about four miles south of Clever.
Authorities said a 2015 GMC Sierra, driven by a 59-year-old man from Aurora, was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center line and collided with a westbound 2020 Harley-Davidson motorcycle operated by a 48-year-old man from Hurley.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene by the Stone County coroner. Officials said he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The driver of the pickup truck was reported to be wearing a seat belt and was not injured.
Both vehicles were totaled and removed from the scene.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate the crash.
