
KENTUCKY — A man is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after police say he accidentally shot himself early Sunday morning in Lexington.
According to Lexington Police, officers were called to the 400 block of Queen Avenue around 4:45 a.m. after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
Police said the man was not cooperating with officers at the scene, but told them the shooting was accidental.
The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where his injuries are considered life-threatening.
No other details have been released at this time. The incident remains under investigation.
