
SOUTH CAROLINA — Two individuals were arrested in Beaufort County following a joint law enforcement operation involving the United States Postal Inspection Service, Homeland Security Investigations, and the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office.
Authorities said the suspects, a man and a woman, were taken into custody after allegedly receiving illegal firearms and firearm parts through the U.S. Mail. The arrests occurred outside a post office along Robert Smalls Parkway and were carried out without incident.
