
FLORIDA — Three people were injured in a motorcycle crash early Friday morning along Thomas Drive, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around midnight near the intersection of Thomas Drive and Appalachee Street.
Authorities said one motorcycle was traveling on Appalachee Street and made a U-turn onto Thomas Drive. As the bike was turning, a second motorcycle traveling along Thomas Drive collided with it.
Troopers reported that the driver of the first motorcycle, an Alabama man, suffered serious injuries. A female passenger on that bike sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the second motorcycle was also reported to have minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.
