SOUTH CAROLINA — Deputies in Beaufort County are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl.
According to the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office, Hailey Elizabeth Alaounis was reported missing by her family around 1 a.m. Thursday from her home on Pinewood Circle. Authorities say she was last seen at approximately 11:30 p.m. the night before.
Alaounis is described as 4 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 150 pounds. She was last seen wearing black sweatpants and a black T-shirt.
Anyone who sees Alaounis or has information about her whereabouts is urged to contact the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch line at 843-524-2777.
The investigation remains ongoing.
