NORTH CAROLINA — Authorities in eastern North Carolina are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing man who was last seen heading toward Greenville.
According to the Craven County Sheriff’s Office, 46-year-old Michael Spellman was last seen Sunday leaving his home on Casey Road with an unknown person.
Deputies said Spellman was believed to be traveling toward Greenville, with his last known location reported at an apartment complex on Verdant Drive.
Family members reported Spellman missing Monday, telling investigators it is unusual for him to go without contacting them.
Anyone with information about Spellman’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Craven County Sheriff’s Office at 252-636-6620.
The investigation remains ongoing.
