
SOUTH CAROLINA — A traffic stop in Gaffney led to multiple arrests after officers discovered illegal drugs inside a vehicle, according to police.
The Gaffney Police Department said the stop happened around 9 p.m. on April 24 in the area of Wilkinsville Highway and East Frederick Street.
Officers said a K-9 unit was called to the scene and alerted to the presence of narcotics during a free-air sniff.
Following a search, police said they found approximately four ounces of methamphetamine and one ounce of marijuana.
Authorities said both the driver and passengers in the vehicle were taken into custody.
No additional details about the individuals arrested or potential charges have been released.
The case remains under investigation.
