KENTUCKY — Five people were arrested following a drug investigation and burglary case at a residence in Corbin, according to police.

The Corbin Police Department said officers, along with the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department and the U.S. Marshals Service, served a federal arrest warrant Friday at a home on Incline Road.

After taking a woman into custody, officers reported seeing a large amount of illegal drugs inside the home and obtained a search warrant. During the search, police said they found methamphetamine, marijuana, narcotic pills, LSD and drug paraphernalia.

Authorities then executed a second search warrant connected to a burglary reported March 25. Investigators said two suspects had broken into a home and stolen multiple items, and security footage linked one of the suspects to the same residence on Incline Road.

During that search, officers said they found additional methamphetamine, a stolen handgun and a large amount of stolen property.

The five people arrested were identified as Nikhil Parlulekar, Nicholas Hammond, Scarlett Wyatt, Wesley Croley and Victoria Day.

Parlulekar and Hammond each face multiple charges, including first-degree burglary, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, theft of a firearm, drug possession and drug paraphernalia. Wyatt is charged with trafficking and possession of methamphetamine, along with additional drug-related offenses. Croley faces charges of trafficking in a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Day was arrested on a federal warrant and faces multiple charges, including trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of LSD, marijuana and other drug-related offenses.

Day was lodged in the Laurel County Correctional Center, while the other four suspects were taken to the Whitley County Detention Center.

The investigation remains ongoing.
