FLORIDA — A fatal crash in Marion County shut down a portion of State Road 40 on Friday morning, according to authorities.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash occurred at the intersection of State Road 40 and State Road 19 in Astor. One person was killed in the incident.
All lanes of SR-40 were closed as emergency crews responded to the scene. Officials have not released additional details about the circumstances of the crash.
