TEXAS — One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash on State Highway 114 in Roanoke, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
Officers were called to a major accident in the 700 block of eastbound SH 114. When they arrived, they found a single vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a concrete barrier.
Authorities said the driver was the only person in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash led to the closure of at least two eastbound lanes while investigators worked at the scene. Those lanes have since reopened.
The identity of the driver has not yet been released and will be provided by the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
