FLORIDA — A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run crash early Monday morning in Greenacres, according to authorities.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to the crash just before 6 a.m. near the intersection of 10th Avenue and Perry Avenue, not far from Ira Van Bullock Park.
Investigators said the crash involved a bicyclist, who died at the scene. Details about the victim have not been released.
Authorities said they are following investigative leads but have not provided information about the driver involved.
As part of the investigation, 10th Avenue just west of Haverhill Road was shut down.
The crash remains under investigation, and officials said more information will be released as it becomes available.
