
WISCONSIN — Thousands of homes and businesses across Wisconsin are without power as of Saturday morning, according to the latest data from PowerOutage.us.
As of the most recent update, 3,633 customers were reported without electricity statewide, representing about 0.12% of the nearly 2.9 million customers tracked.
The most significant outages are concentrated in northern Wisconsin. Bayfield County has the highest number, with 1,157 customers without power, followed by Ashland County with 909 outages. Other counties reporting outages include Milwaukee (292), Marathon (203), Racine (177), Manitowoc (175), Dane (157), and Washburn (129).
Utility providers are also reporting scattered impacts across the state. Xcel Energy accounts for the largest share, with more than 2,000 customers affected. We Energies reports over 700 outages, while Wisconsin Public Service and several smaller utilities are also experiencing service disruptions.
Wisconsin ranks among the states with the highest number of outages nationwide.
Restoration efforts are ongoing, and no estimated timeline has been provided for when all customers will have power restored. Residents are encouraged to report outages to their utility providers and avoid downed power lines.
