Four people injured following head-on vehicle crash in Ohio

OHIO — A head-on collision in Columbus Friday afternoon left one driver in life-threatening condition and injured three others, according to authorities.

The crash occurred around 2:42 p.m. on April 17 on East Main Street, the Columbus Division of Police said. Investigators reported that a Cadillac CTS traveling westbound in the left lane crossed the center line and struck a Jeep Cherokee traveling eastbound.

Police identified the driver of the Cadillac as the at-fault driver. That individual was transported by the Columbus Division of Fire to a local hospital in life-threatening condition.

An adult man, an adult woman, and a juvenile who were also involved in the crash were taken to local hospitals with injuries described as stable.

The Columbus Police Accident Investigation Unit responded to the scene and is continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
